THE AGONY AND ECSTASY OF BEING WHO YOU ARE
"Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves"
Without realizing it, people are cluing and cueing us about their preferences that make up their personality type and sharing with us who they really are. Are you always quick to pick up those clues? Do you have a frame of reference to understand those cues and clues? The work of Carl Jung helps us do that.
According to Jung's Theory of Psychological Types we are all different in fundamental ways. Our ability to process different information is affected by psychological type functions that make up our personalities, making each of us unique. Do you:
· Seek chances to be with other people?
· Not like routine?
· Quickly adapt to any situation?
· Give compliments to please people?
· Have difficulty making decisions?
· Follow rules easily?
· Act without preparation?
There are no right or wrong answers to these questions. Your answers indicate different psychological type functions, which combine to make up your personality. Often in later years we tend to want to develop our opposite tendencies, giving our lives balance.
In this workshop-style format you will learn about the eight different type functions, determine your own personality, and learn how to recognize the functions in others.
